Spring is around the corner...

Just thought I'd share a couple snaps of a beautiful butterfly I caught a little while ago. Isn't it cute, I'm really feeling spring on it's way. Cannot wait for it to be in full force, lot's of lovely flowers and creatures to capture.

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to ' A Little Bird Told Me Photography ' blog. Just a brief intro' I'm Jade and a photographer. I am currently studying a diploma in photography. I am by no means a professional but that doesn't mean I'm not learning and growing each and everyday. I am currently a stay at home mother to my beautiful 1 year old daughter Matilda and am engaged to my partner of nearly 10 years Andrew (Highschool sweethearts). We live in a small rural town in NSW Australia (for now). I love raw, natural, in the moment, quirky angled photos that really capture not just that moment in time forever ( how amazing is that), but their soul everything about them in that moment in time. I know it sounds so cliche and daggy, but it's true. One of my main influences and inspirations is aussie photographer Olive Cotton (Teacup Ballet 1935) I just love her style.

I've had a few ask why ' A little bird told me ' ? Firstly, the ol' saying and secondly sitting in the car with my mother, partner and our daughter on the way to where ever it is we were headed Kasey Chambers blaring and her song ' A little bird told me ' came on. It clicked with me, what a perfect name and original.

So that's a little bit about myself for now. No doubt you will learn more about me, my photography and where I aim to go with all of this as I post more blogs and photos.
